    A UK product design and development company has developed advanced suspension system using a broad spectrum of historical and new innovations.
    The new air suspension system can replace conventional telescopic shock absorbers and the suspension springs. It can also be adapted for kinetic energy recovery.
    The new air suspension system offers easy adjustment of the ride height and the ride quality - soft or hard according to exact preferences - by use of an electronic interface providing a smoother performance than coil sprung suspensions. The improvement is due to the air springs absorbing vibrational energy more effectively.
    The air suspension system delivers improved load carrying capabilities and provides for an even keel when carrying extra weight in the boot and passengers in the cab. In addition, the system reduces the risk of bottoming out, rear end sag and excessive tyre wear.
    The air suspension system has been designed to be retro-fitted to all cars, commercial vehicles and motorbikes. It is adjustable for bump / rebound that is passively or mechatronically controlled. For original equipment manufacturers a non-adjustable system also offers increased cost savings in manufacture and installation.
    The company is looking for engineering and equipment manufacture companies who want to adopt the mechanism for improvement of their existing suspension products, mostly from the automotive industry. The company offers technical co-operation for the final stage of the development or is ready to license out to companies wanting to commercialize the product independently.
