And this multiplicity of branches has been the origin to collaborate with Italian and abroad universities and research centres. Anyway the core business is the materials testing fixtures. Structural engineering sector has continuously looking for materials that exhibit low densities and at the same time good strength, good stiffness, good abrasion behaviour and impact, and are not easily susceptible to corrosion. The knowledge of the mechanical and physical characteristics of a material is the first step for a correct evaluation of the performance of the exercise component.
    This continuously research of new materials has been the key to develop a new system to custom raw materials in the additive manufacturing. This represents the big difference between this process and the standard one. Thus, through the novel system, customers can produce objects with complex shapes and geometries, utilizing materials obtained from the mixing of elemental powders, in order to improve specific material parameters of the material.

    Utilizing at the same time the advanced mixing of metal powders (to ensure the homogenization of distinct metals in the particulate state) and the additive layer manufacturing techniques, it is possible to obtain a crystalline grain diffusion which allows the formation of a non-commercial metallic compound.
    So, the advantages are the following:
    • It is possible to create powders in a combination of different materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, chopper, in order to give a combination of high resistance, lightness and good conductivity materials. Then, the powder can be used in additive manufacturing technology on in any coating technology.
