EUROSTARS Project: Mobile solutions to connect workers with their direct/remote environment

REQUEST from France, reference: RDFR20160603001, valid from 06-06-2016 untill 14-06-2017

Research & Development
  • Start date:
    6 juni 2016
  • End date:
    14 juni 2017
  • Summary:
A French SME works in the connection of any construction site with its workers, in the efficient collection of data via sensors/connected objects and makes the data available in a back-office. The SME is seeking industrial partners, willing to develop and to deploy digital solutions in construction and maintenance sites, as well as for industrial partners disposed to design innovative connected objects with sensing capabilities dedicated to construction sites, for a EUROSTARS proposal.
  • Description:
Nowadays daily life is very fast and the environment has to be adapted to the lifestyle of modern societies. Flexible, interconnected, receptive and intelligent settings facilitate tremendously people's routine of the day.
A French SME is specialised in the development of technological bricks that are flexible and adapted to the environment to enable the deployment of digital systems working in online, offline and hybrid modes, by using mobility technologies, such as : Nearfield communication, Bluetooth Low Energy (Beacon and pixies), WIFI (simple/direct mode), Global System for Mobile Communications/3G/4G, GPS.
The SME already works together with big private and public structures, as electricity and water distributors and a railway company. These cooperations consist mostly in the development and deployment of connected solutions for superiorly managing building and maintenance sites.
The SME is looking for a development on the European and international level via partnerships.
The SME is seeking industrial partners for a participation in a biennial EUROSTARS project.
Expertise sought: The SME is looking for two types of partners. Firstly it is seeking for industrial partners, who are willing to develop and/or to deploy digital, easily manageable and pragmatic solutions which are capable to improve the daily management of construction/maintenance sites with the appropriate tools to collect/analyse data and to interact with connected objects. Secondly, the SME is looking for industrial partners, who are willing to design innovative connected objects equipped with sensing capabilities, which are conceived especially for construction sites.
The call deadline will be 15th September 2016.
The enterprise will be open for receiving expressions of interest until the 01st September 2016.
The project's duration will be (approximated) 24 months.
